Hamilton Eye Institute at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center Announces Lindsey Adams, OD New Optometrist.

Dr. Adams joins the practice from The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Jones Eye Institute where she held a faculty position as an Instructor. In addition to Comprehensive Clinic, she was head of Low Vision Services and had a special interest in resident education in Clinical Optics. She was also involved in the didactic and clinical training for undergraduate students pursing a degree in Ophthalmic Medical Technology.
Prior to her faculty position, Dr. Adams clinical externships were at The Hughes Eye Center in Jackson, TN, with focus in Oculoplastics, Retina, Cataract Surgery, LASIK and Glaucoma Lasers. She completed her Comprehensive Eye Care training at the Draisin Vision Group in Charleston, South Carolina as well as The Eye Center at the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. She earned her Doctor of Optometry at the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN.

Dr. Adams special interests are comprehensive eye care, low vision and contact lenses fittings.
Dr. Adams is a native of Spartanburg, South Carolina and enjoys spending time with her husband and two dogs.
