Shannon Tacker, University Clinical Health CEO, Selected as Memphis Business Journal Super Woman in Business

Shannon Tacker, CEO

Shannon Tacker, CEO for University Clinical Health (UCH), was selected by the Memphis Business Journal as a 2022 Super Woman in Business. Tacker is one of only 24 women in Memphis to be recognized. This selection marks Tacker’s third time to be recognized for her professional achievements. She received the MLK Luminary Award from the City of Memphis in January 2022, and was recognized in December 2021 as a Woman Who Leads in Healthcare by the Memphis Business Journal.

“We are incredibly proud of Shannon and her achievements,” said Courtney Love, Chief Administrative Officer for UCH, “but we feel just as proud to have her as UCH’s leader. She has an exceptional reputation in the Memphis healthcare space, and we are fortunate to have her as our CEO.”

Tacker has been with University Clinical Health since May 2020, and is responsible for formulating and executing UCH’s business strategy and operational plans. She also oversees the partnership between UCH and the University of Tennessee, and provides oversight for UCH’s 23 locations.
